Rocky Fire burns 300 acres in Modoc County, crews continue containment efforts

The Modoc County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) announced an active fire that has burned around 300 acres on June 24, 2026.

Update: Grove Fire burns 0.3 acres in Modoc County since June 30

After being active for 27 hours, it has burned 0.3 acres of private land. Currently, there is no information on the containment of the fire and the cause of it is still undetermined.
