These are literally Kallax shelves… trimmed out, face-framed, leveled, and built doors from scratch. I wanted that custom built-in look without the $3k price tag, so I used what I already had, added a pine countertop, pocket-holed everything together, and used leftover plywood for the face frame doors. Budget builds for the win. 🙌🏼 The best part? No one believes it’s IKEA until I tell them. If you’ve been scared to try an IKEA hack, this is your sign.
